Four of the five grades carry a heat shield at the tailpipe, and every outdoor grade is UV-treated. Let the pipe cool, then cover up.
Tailpipe heat shieldOn every outdoor grade
Five grades, side by side.
The five AllGuard motorcycle cover grades compared on price, shell, lining, tailpipe heat shield, how they hold on, breathability, what is in the box and sizes.
Pick your bike type: small dirt bike, small sports bike, sports bike, cruiser with windshield, or loaded cruiser with windshield and side cases. Sizes run from 80 in. to 120 in. long. Not every grade comes in every size, so each product page lists the lengths it fits.
Which grade should I choose?
The AllGuard Standard Shield ($69.99) is metalized nylon with a tailpipe heat shield and a storage bag. The AllGuard Deluxe Shield ($99.99) is black 300D PolyShield with rear vents. The AllGuard Ultimate Shield ($129.99) is a non-woven polypropylene shell with a fleece liner. The AllGuard Platinum Shield ($159.99) is silver 300D polyester with a polyurethane coating, a fleece liner, breathable fabric and built-in buckles and straps. The D in 300D is denier, a measure of yarn weight. For a bike kept indoors, the AllGuard Satin Protect ($129.99) is a soft stretch cover with a sheared fleece interior. Sheared means the fleece is trimmed short.
Do the covers protect against exhaust heat?
The AllGuard Standard Shield, AllGuard Deluxe Shield, AllGuard Ultimate Shield and AllGuard Platinum Shield all have a heat shield at the tailpipe. Even so, let the exhaust cool before you cover the bike.
How does each cover secure to the bike?
The AllGuard Standard Shield uses side grommets with an attached bungee strap. The AllGuard Deluxe Shield has side grommets with sewn-in elastic hooks for the underbelly. The AllGuard Ultimate Shield has a sewn strap and buckle under the bike. The AllGuard Platinum Shield has built-in buckles and straps. The AllGuard Satin Protect has elastic front and rear hems.
What does the AllGuard Protection Warranty cover?
Every AllGuard motorcycle cover comes with the AllGuard Protection Warranty. Full replacement in the same material and size. Covers wear and tear. Included with every cover.
What if the cover does not fit?
Every cover is backed by the AllGuard Fit Promise: if the cover you receive does not fit your bike, we make it right within 30 days. We offer 30-day returns and exchanges, return shipping is free for fit issues that meet our sizing guarantee guidelines or if we sent the wrong item, and shipping is free to the US and Canada.
I run saddlebags or a top case. Which size do I need?
Call our sizing team at 1-800-385-3603 or use live chat and tell them about what is fitted, such as saddlebags, a top case or a tall windshield. They will match you to the right guaranteed-fit size.
How do I care for the cover?
Put the cover on a clean, dry bike once the exhaust has cooled. To wash it, hose it down while it is on the bike and sponge it with a mild detergent in cold or warm water, or use a front-load washer on the delicate cycle. Always air dry it: a machine dryer or any heat will shrink the cover.
